New Sea World Projects

The new dolphin show and seal pantomime opened in time for season. Thanks to the Mammal Teams and Wayne – these shows are doing really well and guests have loved them! The GRO’s did a good job throughout season packing in thousands of guests every day and the mammal teams did wonderful shows every single day throughout season – on some very hot days!
Pop Up Exhibit opened in the aquarium – you must try it - imagine fish swimming over your head, just centimeters from your face and all around you – as you pop your head up in our new and exciting ‘pop up tank’. This brilliant photo opportunity was a hit with guests – even though a few adults did bump their heads!!
The penguins love their home make-over and are happily building nests in the new area. The new annotations are working very well and guests are spending much more time in the Penguin Zone. Hundreds of guests have already made their Promise to the Penguins – have you?
The new exhibit outside Dangerous Creatures featuring the Black throated monitors aka The Dragons opened. With their size and super personality- these new guys are a must see. The enormous anaconda model right next to the dragons was enormously popular with guests. Hopefully no one will fall off the snake while they pose on its head!!!
Two new Conservation Stations also opened in the aquarium. These stands gave guests an opportunity to meet staff members and ask questions.
Well done to everyone – season was a success because of the hard work of the Sea World and HFM staff in the park!
